The Original Demo: Totient Sieve Plinko

The demo featured on this page uses an original game mechanic called Totient Sieve Plinko. It is not a reproduction of an external casino game but a distinct implementation for illustrative purposes.

Game Mechanics:

• Structure: Twelve independent fair left/right steps define positions x_0=0 through x_12.
• Scoring: The score is calculated by summing phi(abs(position)+1)-1 across rows 1..12, where phi counts positive coprime integers up to its argument. The exact minimum statistic over all 4096 paths is subtracted to obtain the nonnegative reward score. The subtracted minimum is 0.
• Weights: Before capturing the stake, you choose linear, squared, or cubed reward weights.
• Payout: The gross multiplier is 0.96 times the weight divided by its exact 4096-path mean. One captured stake is settled per round.

Wallet and Persistence

The virtual wallet in this demo operates independently of any external banking system.

• Initial Balance: 1000 virtual coins.
• Restoration: A manual idle-only restoration sets the balance to exactly 1000 if it falls below 10 while idle. This is not an automatic replenishment or a deposit.
• Fractional Carry: Fractional carry persists in browser localStorage across settlement, refill, and reload. Refilling does not clear it.
• Persistence: Settled balance persists locally, including zero. However, if you reload during an unfinished round, the captured stake remains deducted; the round ends without refund, payout, or continuation.

Controls and Modes

Stakes: Selectable stakes are 10, 20, 50, or 100 play coins. The default is 20.

Mode Selection: Choose linear, squared, or cubed reward weight before the captured stake. Different modes have different distributions.

Busy State: Stake and curve selectors, restoration, and starting another round are locked while a round is active. No intermediate collection is allowed.

Data and Privacy Observations

The virtual-coin balance and fractional payout carry are stored in browser localStorage. They can persist across reloads while that site storage remains available. Clearing cached files alone does not necessarily remove localStorage; deleting this site’s storage removes the local wallet.

The page loads Google Fonts resources and the Statinside visit counter with ID 44. Requests to these services and the hosting server are separate from the local wallet storage. The absence of an account or cashier does not establish that no personal data are processed. This guide does not establish anonymity, data sale or profiling practices, security guarantees, or server retention periods.
